    Paolo De Martino graduated in Architecture with top marks in July 2008 at the Department of Architecture of University of Naples Federico II (DiARC) with a thesis entitled “In-between the new and the ancient”. The thesis focused on the role of contemporary architecture in historical contexts. Since graduation he has worked as architect focusing mainly on issues related to new architecture, churches, restoration, and interior design.

    Since January 2015 he live in Delft where started as Guest researcher at TU Delft. Officially, by November 2015, he is a PhD candidate in Architecture. His research interest is in Port-city re-development through a comparative analysis between Netherlands and Italy, with particular reference to the city of Rotterdam and Naples.
