MASTER EDUCATION BY BUILDINGS TYPOLOGY. Hybrid Buildings are receiving increasing attention in contemporary architectural debates and practices, showing the attempt to escape the traditional but arid binomial form-function by addressing buildings with multiple performances. They combine different programs into a ‘hybrid’ whole and show new ways of organizing space. Therefore, rather than looking for mere programmatic solutions, hybrid buildings offer up to date answers to our way of living, working and entertaining. The scope of the program is to bring up different combinations of types of space, functions and constructive systems in order to create opportunities for alternative social and urban dynamics.

FINAL PRESENTATION MSC1 & MSC2 DESIGN STUDIO'S PAROOL TRIANGLE AMSTERDAM
Thursday, January 19th, at the 6th floor of the Parool Building, Wibautstraat, Amsterdam.
10.00 Venue.
10.00 – 10.30 Setting up of presentations, including models.
10.30 Starting of presentation. 15 minutes per person, including questions/remarks.
10.30 – 15.00 Presentations, including pause.
15.30 – 16.30 Discussion with guests and visiting critics.
Guests and critics will react on the plans as they have seen them and / or did listen to the presentations. What is interesting for this location and/or this kind of assignments? Of course all plans are not realistic because of all kind of reasons (investments, program’s and so on). Besides, the plans have a clear didactic finality. Though, is the distance from reality really that big? Are there fragments of a possible future in this plans? Where do we need to pay more attention?
